New Female GP at HHMP: Dr Pooja Rastogi
HHMP would like to welcome Dr Pooja Rastogi, a female GP to HHMP. Dr Rastogi will start seeing patients at HHMP from early August 2022.
HHMP has always been a great option for young GPs to set up their private practice. The staff and other doctors working from HHMP are excited to welcome Dr Rastogi.
About Dr Pooja Rastogi
Dr Pooja Rastogi is a senior GP registrar, completing her final training with the HHMP team.
Pooja grew up and went to school on the North Shore. She completed her Bachelor Of Medical Science from the University of Sydney in 2013 followed by a Doctor Of Medicine in 2017 through The University of Wollongong.
She proceeded to train at Royal North Shore Hospital gaining experience in a range of surgical and medical specialities including emergency medicine, geriatrics, colorectal surgery and paediatrics.
She further developed her skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a Senior Resident Medical Officer at Westmead Hospital in 2020 where she completed a Certificate in Women’s Health (CWH). She has undertaken extra studies in paediatrics though the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP).
Pooja enjoys the full breadth of general practice and treating patients of all ages. Her special interests include women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, paediatrics and dermatology.
Outside of work, Pooja enjoys playing all sports but especially swimming, squash and Pilates. She loves to travel and is an enthusiastic foodie who enjoys dining at new restaurants with family and friends.
